With the release of the new Chromium-based Opera, the Norwegian developer dislocated the mail component from the web browser and provided it as a standalone product.Today, the company rolls out the first stable build for their email client; it remained as simple as before as the modifications available in this standalone version are quite subtle. As such, the layout and the main features users were accustomed to in the built-in client from the browser have been preserved. There is the tabbed interface that allows quick and easy access to multiple messages; it still incorporates a feed reader to fetch news from your subscriptions.Furthermore, messages can be viewed in thread…

nothing we werent already aware of but its now making newz.. http://www.cnbc.com/id/100549714?__source=yahoo|instory|&par=yahoo As the White House meets with CEOs on the topic of cybersecurity, one expert said that even young amateurs pose risks to corporate computer systems and the U.S. economy. "It's so easy to get into corporate networks that a determined 12-year-old with good Internet access could download the tools," said James Lewis, senior fellow at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, who advises Congress and the Obama administration on cybersecurity. "Ninety percent of the successful attacks require only the most basic techniques. It's ti…

Anyone who has used Opera for any length of time will know quite clearly that it is the best browser to have ever graced the planet (TiredFox users don't need to pipe in here ). To make things even better Opera recently had a version bump to 9.50. Unfortunately not everything is sweet... Why-oh-why did they change the default skin to that horrid wanna-be-like-Vista looking monstrosity... Fortunately though someone was good enough to create a 9.50 skin to make it look like the previous versions. Add to that the fact Opera is even more whooping fast at browsing and viewing pages now, its Opera with rocket boosters Does anyone actually like the new default skin? Ted.

A few years ago, themida, winlicense was people's choice . everyone seems to pack everything in themida, but now, those days are over. with deathways plugin + scripts from q, LCF-AT themida codes can be reverted back to almost clean. But VMp is the new pain in ass, more and more people these days packing everything in vmp and its very hard to restore those protected apps back to their original form. i got twice infected by vmped apps supposed to be clean. anyone has any idea about if vmp apps will ever get defeated. PS: i dont even like analyzing unpacked vmp apps. IDA kind of goes crazy with them and specially the current method of restoring IAT isnt clean IMO.

Hi, so does someone of you know some way's how to reduce the CPU utilization of the flash plugin of your browser? So you know it maybe from the past that I have always trouble to watch some flash videos on the net [playing not liquid / stop & go etc].Now I just did open the taskmanager and checked my FireFox durring the video was playing and I saw the CPU utilization was jumping from 93 - 99%!!!!If I pause the video then the CPU utilization was again very low.So why does the flash use the whole CPU and do you know some special ways to reduce it maybe etc?So it does not play any role which browser I use so I get the same problems as in FF.So if you know some hints &amp…

I decided to clean up the original sticky topic where new members to the forum are able to post hello or thank you messages. The older topic got a little bloated and since I pruned all the old and inactive members of the forum the other day a lot of accounts were no longer active and it looked messy. If you are new to the forum and would like to make your first post here just to say thanks or a hello then this is the place to do it. Having them all posted in one topic saves having hundreds or individual topics scattered around the forum... Ted.
