Hi, I have a small question. How can i split file into multiple chunks like and file splitter do. I have a file on FTP of size 600 MB and i want to split it into 100 MB 6 parts on ftp only. Is there any FTP command to do this. Though i can do it using PHP but the problem is script timeout limit is very small so before the operation completes script just stops. I have downloaded a 775 MB AVI video (single file).Now how do I burn it on a 700MB CD? I don't have a DVD writer so cannot use DVDs. One option is to use winrar ot hjsplit to split the video in 2 parts & burn those on separate CDs but then every time I want to watch the video,I would have to copy the files on my HDD & re-join them. It seems to me that there is a huge global market for AnyDVD, yet to my knowledge it is the only program of its type. True, there are some programs that will both shrink and decrypt DVDs, but this still doesn't seem to explain why AnyDVD stands alone. So either I'm missing something and there are indeed similar programs, or there aren't siilar programs and I'm missing something about why this is so. Either way, I'm missing something. Thoughts?
