I'm dumbfounded! There are some hard core gamers out there! I was watching the news this morning.... The PS3 has been release for sale in the US. I guess there was a shortage of units shipped from Japan, so people waited more than 48 hours in line to purchase one. There are two different models, and the store prices are $500.00 and $600.00. They are now sold out. Of course they are now being sold for unheard of profits on Ebay. The last I checked (several hours ago) they were going for around $8,000.00!

Has anyone ever burnt any data DVD's and when inserted them back in the DVD drive of their computer at a later date found they produce an I/O error so they can't be read? I've got this problem with my drive and the strange thing is that the DVD's are fine because on my standard DVD player I can see and read all the files just fine. It seems odd that the burner the DVD was burnt on can't read it. Is there a solution to this, better drivers or something? I've looked for updated drivers for my specific hardware but there are none... Ted.
