Hi guys, I don't know how many of you have heard about CTF contests. Basically those are contests organized by different entities (Universities, Google, Facebook, Mozila, etc.) containing problems that mainly require security knowledge (web hacking, reverse engineering, writing shellcode for different architectures [to exploit buffer overflows, use after free, etc]. There is a global ranking here http://ctftime.org/ that sums together all CTFs by difficulty and number of teams that played and other factors too. I am part of a team that used to be a top 10 one 2 years ago, then we stopped playing, some had too much work, some moved to other teams as we were…

Hi guys, today I have a new question and need some infos to find something useful what I could use. Maybe you know the problem, you do surf on internet and you find any file / video on any sources you wanna download.I notice that there are some or more sources / hosts who try to deny a download with full speed and you got just some KB/s what really sucks and if you know me then you know I don't like limits. In the past I have seen that problem too already and tried some different donwloader tools who have a feature called "accelerator" and in some cases it really works and I could download files with 100 % speed of my internet connection instead of some KB/s like …

Full article here. "The UK Government's Digital Economy Bill, which is set to revamp current copyright legislation, has been introduced in Parliament. One of the most controversial changes is the increased maximum sentences for online copyright infringement. Despite public protest, the bill increased the maximum prison term five-fold, from two to ten years. “The Government believes that a maximum sentence of 10 years allows the courts to apply an appropriate sentence to reflect the scale of the offending,” the Government explained previously, adding that the maximum sentence will only be applied in rare cases. This means that casual file-sharers are …

Hi, I consider buying win10 and using it as a primary OS, and for reversing. There has been a lot of rant about privacy issues, forced updates, windows itself enabling user disabled reporting options..... I wonder if it's worth of buying. Is it even good idea to use legal win10 for reversing when noone knows for sure what actually is collected and send to MS? Anybody here using legal version of Win10?
