This being a Reversing forum, I'm hoping that at least someone will know how to fix this. I deal with ZIP archives alot for my work, and they have simply stopped being able to be extracted via the shell. Didn't know where else to post this, but I have lost the ability to extract files from a ZIP folder through the windows shell. If i double click a ZIP archive, the usual new windows explorer window pops up. If i then try to drag ANY files AT ALL out of that folder/window, the "moving file" dialog appears, but no file is extracted and/or moved. I will even get the asked confirmation to "replace and existing file" to over write it, but then after confirming, no file is ex…

I was troling about a few minutes ago and went to d/l something off rapidshare and came across this peice of work.. I can totally understand the use of CAPTCHA but this is crazy I dunno maybe it is because I just woke up and my vision is still a little fuzzy, but I cant make nothing out of this jumbled mess at the moment. why can these websites not keep these things half assed ledgable. Or an alternative for "dummies" like myself who can not see cats dangling from letters because the letters look like they have vines growing on them or something. I wanted to d/l a file not solve an optical illusion. I don't wish any harm to anyone but the person responsible for this …

I came to think about this out of pure bordom and reading some old topics, Is smaller releases of patches and cracks ect... better? it seems to be a scene standard to try and release a smaller exe as possiable, my question is why? Reasons why I think it should'nt really matter: 1. Size: With hard drives being messured in TerraBytes I dont think this should be a problem, even if the exe weighed in at 1mb 2. Speed: With the standard everyday proccessors excedding Pentium 4's I hardly think speed is an issue, maybe milliseconds speed gain by using API calls 3. Resources: Well from I see everybody has at least 1GB of ram memory so I dont think a memory foot print of a couple …

Hello all friends of tuts4you.com, Do you know to unpack all packers over the world or how many packers did you unpack successfully ? I have an ambition to unpack "all of them" and first we should collect one targets (this can be more if neccessary) for each packers then unpack it with your ability and post tutorial here to make a bigest collection of unpacking tutorial (video tutorial only for best viewing) To prevent duplicate, we should just post the link of video tutorials already posted in our forums Then, Teddy or any advanced reversers can organize the collection or make any tutorial series like Lena151 series for all members. and it should be update often…

Tiny projectors may soon cast big images on walls, or even on train seatbacks. At left, a prototype from Iljin DSP, hooked up to a cellphone. At right, the Samsung MBP-100. TIRED of hearing other people’s cellphone conversations? It may become worse. Soon you may have to watch their favorite television shows and YouTube videos, too, as they project them onto nearby walls or commuter-train seatbacks. LINK: read full article here BR; ChupaChu!

Check the rest of the story here: http://www.google.com/virgle/index.html ..and a little ad for the project, devoted to human (i know you 'll love this): Your wife hasn't cooked, and your dog just p1ssed on the porch. Scenario sounds familiar ? In other words, you 're feelin' suicidal today... Tired of all the traditional ways of killin' yourself? Do you think suicide bombing is a clich
