Anyone know how to turn off or disable that most of annoying of annoying Windows traits of the OS automatically rebooting itself after its automatically updated itself? Ted.

Does anyone know any software and/or built in ways to restrict access to certain options for different user accounts? My friend runs a non-profit private school and was wanting me to help him enable restrictions on the students computers. I've installed NetNanny on the systems already but also needed to know if access can be blocked under their user accounts for instance blocking options in IE accessing control panel accessing windows explorer accessing desktop properties and blocking things of this type on just their login name for windows xp. any help would be greatly greatly appreciated! zer0

Hi! I use a serial key for Gamehike and it resets pc and it gives this error(attached).It says we logged your ip.So what i must do?If they logged my ip they can find me also aren't they? Do you think i must buy the program ? I don'T want to buy it but i'm scared also from laws.I'm from Turkey.Did you use this app?Does it gives you that report ?I think it's not important and they used it to make people scared and maked them to buy the app.So what i must do? I came into the problem while creating a patch with dup.......i want to create file at "All Users\Application Data\some folder"......The problem seems to be space in the "Application data" ...dup doesn't copies the file to the folder...Seems to be same problem that came with command.com while creating directories with spaces..Any help plz

hey all does anybody know how to change a programs "start menu" option to something else to start?? (like a loader). i know i can make the new shortcut into the start section but im talking about the start/all programs section.. hope that isnt confusing... if not its no biggie..i just dont want to clutter up my desktop or my start section with icons.. thanx all B

hey all.. ive been googling to find the answer but still nothing solid has come thru... how can i go about changing pal dvd vob files to ntsc vob files?? i orginally had a img image (nero) and extracted the files with magic iso.. i tried using dvd patcher to change it (wasted a few dvds in the process but i was getting closer but not close enough and figured i would ask for help now..lol).. can somebody explain how this is done and which programs i would need to do so?? thanx for your time all peace B
