http://spectrum.ieee.org/print/5429 Maybe the best article I ever read over the 2 Sides of the Music Industry and that every advantage try to hide a bigger disadvantage. When the compact disc (CD) was introduced in the early 1980s, there was much for audiophiles to be happy about. Digital audio removed many of the physical restrictions vinyl had imposed, such as concerns about surface noise (caused by dust, scratches, the lacquer itself, and so on) and limited dynamic range. The CD was capable of supporting a dynamic range of about 96 dB. For most of the 1980s, when CDs were still high-end products and mastering engineers largely did not have access to digital signal-proc…

I laughed about this video. Its freaking funny, Bush tried to say "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me", he made his own version of it. He said: "fool me once, shame on ... shame on you, a fooled man cant get fooled again" And, read the youtube comments they are very funny: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eKgPY1adc0A An edited video (real hard, you'll laugh 100%) - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K7wZ73ABr44 Bush stutter, real bad - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9SSrt73QNQM

The company apparently isn't done with Windows XP yet, either. Reports this week suggested that just as one group of testers got their hands on Vista SP1, another group began testing Windows XP SP3, which Microsoft has preliminary plans to release the first half of next year. Microsoft on Wednesday confirmed those reports. Not sure if anyone actually wants to try a pre-beta but if you want to you can find a link here: />http://www.thehotfix.net/ This does make you sign up in their forums, but I'm sure if you search google hard enough you'll find a rapidshare link, or something similiar. Its around 350 MB. Also for all those that are interested, Vista SP1 will be releas…

This is not really a reversing/debugging question - except maybe for someone like me travelling all the time and needs to connect to their home network. Anyway the question is - I have set up a VPN connection to one PC on my home network and access it using a laptop. Both are WinXP. The VPN connects reliably and I can ping all the IP addresses on my home network. I can also connect to ip addresses on the home network (such as the router web configuration pages). BUT the big problem is the home network shares are not accessible using "My Network Places" or using drive mapping. The VPN client and server are using the same workgroup name and I can see the client is getting a…
