Hi, I know little about cracking and unpacking, and I really need your advice. I’d like to buy a commercial packer to protect my software. I’m working as developer on a software company, and my software gets cracked each time a new version is released. So, I want to protect the software with a powerful commercial packer, hoping to make the cracking difficult. I googled a lot and did find some tools like VMProtect, Themida, Obsidium, AxProtector, and PELock. I’d like to know which one is the best (Which one is more difficult to unpack?) Thanks!

Hello fellows! Im a beginner coder and I wonder how type of protection will give you a good chalenge? I have a program with modules to check credentials in my webpage (public and nothing fancy) and compiled it with Nuitka and used VMprotector to mutate and virtualize. From 0 to 10 how good is Nuitka + VMprotector to prevent reverse engineering? I have for sure that my code is bad but lets wonder if a medium and a expert coder try to bypass the "security" how likely is them to get in? May the weak spot is the conection that my program make with my webpage using "requests https" or it may be not a huge problem? - The code was made on python - it get some U…

Hi, 1. Which software can largely prevent crackers? and makes crack work harder (Please comment on crackers or people who are familiar with software security) - [Enigma, Winlicense, VMProtect, ASProtect, ZProtect, PECompact, Obsidium, etc.] 2. Which software does the best licensing with high security? There is definitely no software that can not be cracked, and I know there are very, very professional crackers around the world, especially (China and Russia) that there is no software that can not crack, but consider the general situation (and we all know that professional crackers for Small or ordinary software does not take time) 3. Can combining …

Hi, Why do some antivirus recognize themida or winlicense protected files as trojan or malicious files (virus)? Is there a solution to prevent this from happening? I used the following methods (excluding pre-loaders) but to no avail: https://www.oreans.com/help/wl/hm_virus.htm Where can I download these pre-loaders? (I have a test version) (I used the free, cracked and original versions and the results were the same) + Second question: Is there a way to use two different protectors together without any problems? Does this make it more secure? Do you recommend this method at all? Why?? For example winlicense and vmprot…

Hello, I have searched for this topic over some pages on the forum, but sadly couldn't find it. I'm sorry if it's in the wrong section, I think this is the right one, I'm new here. I know there is no impossible Protector that can't be unpacked, but I want to know what are the best ones order by the hardest ones to the lowest from your opinion. (Harder here means takes a lot of time or hard work to get unpacked and not anyone can do it, just professionals) I appreciate all the opinions. Thanks a lot.

Hi everyone, I've read many topics here but didn't find the information I was looking for. If the question is dumb then it's because I have no knowledge in protecting/virtualizing/obfuscating/cracking software. To keep it simple. I have a .NET application that I want to protect. Does converting it to native (rewriting it in C/C++) and then protecting/virtualizing it with software such as Themida or VMProtect improves the protection? What I want to know, is native protected software more secure than .NET protected software? If yes, what's the strongest protection software for native applications? The good ones I know are Themida and VMProtect. Is t…

Hi Guys I am the owner of Sinvise Systems Shutdown Timer. I'm not bugged or anything since I knew the application wouldn't be so hard to crack, and I wasn't too fussed if it did get cracked as it was originally free. One thing I was wondering is what process did the SnD Team manage to get through into the code. Thanks

Hello, I am so confused right now on what protection to use, i've been reading a lot on what protection is the best, but still can't decide on what to use. I need protector that have licensing system to lock on hardware id and protect against vmware installations together with sensitive application data, software has multiple assemblies and is little bit performance oriented. I was thinking about babelfor.net but then for licensing option altogether they ask 1200$ which is non-sense, then i was kind of thinking about vmprotect but then i would need to rewrite some of the sensitive code to c+, because .net protection still isn't that strong. I am kind …

I am considering to start using Code Virtualizer (mainly because it supports binary formats not only for Windows). Could someone share experience/impressions on this piece of software? If possible, how it stands compared with other code virtualizing obfuscators? Note: I found a paper "Comparing the Effectiveness of Commercial Obfuscators against MATE Attacks" (by several guys from Univerisites of South Alabama and Nebraska), where the Subj: is compared with VMProtect and Themida - I can guess the Code Virtualizer gained some attention, if it became a subject of study. Thanks in advance for any information.
