I know what DDOS attack is!
But here is the question: what this suppose to do???
It would be something like protect against DDOS I would understand!!!
Hell if I know what's up with that!

Yes, DDoS protection basically acts as anti-flood by limiting the number of concurrent connections and/or rate-limit your transfers, SYN, ICMP packets
