I don't know if this has anything to do with the database, but sometimes

when I load the forum. It doesnt execute the index.php scripts but thinks

I wanna download it and says it's a file for download, I need to reload the

page for like 5 times then it works again :S

Posted (edited)

Extreme slooooooow..

Every page takes seconds or almost a minute to load.

Trying to interrup the loading process with 'stop' doesn't helps,

because the page is sometimes not fully loaded so I have to wait or reload.

There were only 2 blank pages, no more errors just this new speed-problem.

EDIT:

just happened.

When to test my post

"Click here to enlarge" and it keeps on giving the same error....... :(

Not sure what is going on. Using opera 9.10, not that it should matter.

Are you sure its not just opening the picture and you're mistaking it for the error? It opens fine here.

EDIT: suggest you also use the pinned topic dude, think Ted wants them in one place.

@loki

I'm sure that I wasn't seeing the image again........it cleared itself after a few attempts......at first I thought it was the image but it wasn't......

If Teddy wants it pinned I'll let him pin it. He wanted it to be in the public view for all to report when the problem occurs.......unless I misunderstood him. I'll let him make the correction if it is needed.

Thanks for the feedback though...... :)

Ted, how often do you optimize the database tables?

Its nothing to do with table optimization, the tables themselves are all up to date. This is purely a server issue, for some unknown reason during a simple update query the server quits... :dunno:

Ok... really are coming thick and fast now (Internal Server Errors).

We do have 6 guests and 11 members on right now though so maybe it is just getting too busy for the connection?

Posted

Yesterday wasn't too bad for me... but just got three internal server errors in a row.

08.26 GMT.

EDIT: and a few trying to post this reply.

Posted

Ok... 23 in a row. 8:30. Something is going on... we only have 6 members and 3 guests online.

I'm coming back later as is almost unusable right now.

same here logging in to see the automated response from email to this thread.......2 errors and a page not found

The board driver errors have been fixed since we changed to a new database server and I'm looking in to upgrading the hosting package to stop the server error limits being reached. Since the sites been very busy its been hitting the limits regularly especially during the busy periods...
