Hello all things went unnoticed but since the begining of this year i'm doing an enormous work to preserve scene heritage on defacto2. i've a huge amount of releases (over 700k) the files are from ~1995 till today (still collecting), so yeah more than 20 years of scene in one place, i had to buy 2 new hdd of 4tb for working on this project and i stopped to count the time passed for checking viruses/uploading gfxs on defacto, verifying the doubles, the amount is colosal too. so, what have been done on 2018 for preserving the scene? creation of theses pages for groups: non-exhaustive list, i may have missed somes i added but forgot about... Seems it’s been shifting more towards P2P (peer-to-peer) releases lately. In the past, you’d see a lot of scene groups or teams releasing stuff, but now it seems like there’s a lot more individual uploaders or smaller groups. It could be because of the ease of distributing content across decentralized platforms or torrent sites. Do you think that’s making it harder to track or manage piracy, or does it feel like the scene is just more fragmented now? Seems if releases are coming from team name, maybe one or couple of people are running the team name which were huge in past. Is this trend gonna change ? idk scene doesnt feel scene anymore!

Does anyone know what tools/workflows are typically used to make these files or how they’re put together? I’ve seen some examples, and they’re fascinating, but I’m not sure how they’re achieved.
