well the dependencies is'nt really a problem as windows 2000 and XP come with the basic runtime files, but comdlg and richtext ect... dlls might be a problem but these are not needed to make a keygen as a simple text box will do,

I made a mIRC keygen using Vb so its not that hard to do

Could you share the source of how to do it? OR maybe a tut? I've been trying to figure it out. THe Artteam tut doesn't make sense to me yet.

Ergh nasty VB!

It is possible; but I dont know why you would want to!

Ive done 1 or 2 in VB just as a proof of concept, but any self respecting coder just uses Assembly.

I love vb keygens :P

The are easy to code but sometimes you can face difficulty for converting asm instuctions to visual basic

do you have an easy tut to follow for this issue?

Thanks BytePtr...This may make working in vb easier :P

@kittmaster:

If you can understand the algo then you can easily create a keygen in vb...i don't have any tut yet but i think there are some old tuts by Eternal bliss and Sandman for Vb...

You look at some of the really good products made from VB for example PCTools Products are all made with VB (registry machinic, Spyware Doctor)
