Time spent: 5 minutes from start to typing this message.  It's a great example of how a compromised older version of the software (like your crackme v1.0) leads to a complete compromise of the new and improved protection.

I hope to find some time on Sunday or early next week to make a writeup. But my spare time is limited these days, I apologize for that in advance..

 

If someone else wants to make a tutorial, I'd love to see that!
