LCF-AT Posted August 8 Posted August 8 Hey @Teddy Rogers, I can not post any text anymore it always fails! Please check that Teddy. No idea what the problem is. It always just loads the topic site again and again after pressing submit reply! 1
Teddy Rogers Posted August 9 Posted August 9 Can you be more specific please which topic/ post are trying to edit? Based on the response you received suggests that you cannot make any changes because the time period for edits has expired... Ted. 1
Teddy Rogers Posted August 9 Posted August 9 Seems to be working fine here. Try clearing cache, cookies, etc. and see if that helps? Try disabling any content blockers or scripts that you may be using that is affecting CK Editor... Ted. 1
LCF-AT Posted August 9 Author Posted August 9 TEST 1234 I get 403 forbidden POST when trying to submit my message! 1
Teddy Rogers Posted August 9 Posted August 9 Go back to using the light theme and see if that helps? Edit: I checked further and I think I have pin-pointed the cause. Try again, it should be all good now... Ted. 2
LCF-AT Posted August 9 Author Posted August 9 Hey @Teddy Rogers, I'm using the light theme all the time. On images above you can see the other theme just because at that moment I removed / clear all cookies and tried to login but it didn't work because of that verification NAG what is not showing the security question and just show up the first NAG again. The bad news is I don't get that security question to so I need to answer and its showing always the first NAG again & again. Something is broken there or whatever. I just can't login anymore and still using my old cookies. Please have a look at this and fix this so that I get the security question to see I want to answer to get a successfully new login etc. By the way, in past (long time ago) I did keep all my T4Y cookies alive in Firefox browser to prevent any new login just because I got that security question every time / everyday when I tried to login. That was total annoying and the reason why I kept my cookies for ever. Please check this login / security question stuff and fix it so that I can use it again to answer the question and then tell me how to prevent to get those SQ on every login etc. Thanks. PS: So the preview of this text is working right now. Thank you for that fix so far Teddy. @CRC32 Hey my friend, PM checked! greetz
LCF-AT Posted August 9 Author Posted August 9 Its me again. New info's. I made a video where you can see the issue with the Security Question (not showing) I should get in my privacy settings tab. Also same happens when trying to login (after deleting all cookies). Just look... SecurityQuestionProblem.mp4 ...so you see its not showing and does show the VR nag again and again. Why does it not work Ted? Otherwise, just for testing I created a new account and there its working to get the SQ NAG to enter an answer but also with this new test account I made I always get that SQ nag every when I login I have to answer but WHY? How to disable that? I don't wanna answer that question each time I login and that was also the reason why I did kept my cookies for my account all the time. Can you disable your hardcore checks or whatever you checking for (Fingerprint, panties or what the heck your server checks!). That's really annoying Teddy. Otherwise tell me what I have to change in browser settings to pass that SQ question in the future (just show it all few months or so but not on every login). Thanks. PS: Don't forget to check why I don't get that SQ NAG to see on my main account (see video above). greetz 2

Teddy Rogers Posted August 10 Posted August 10 (edited) 4 hours ago, LCF-AT said: PS: Don't forget to check why I don't get that SQ NAG to see on my main account (see video above). You have a natural talent of finding ways to break things. Some of the legacy questions were deleted years ago and defaulted to the only one question that is visible now, "What is the answer to your security question?". To fix the question not being visible you need to click on, "Get an email to recover access". This will allow you to reset 2FA back to the one and only one question that is available now. For some reason when the old questions were deleted and replaced with the one that is available now there was no prompt to force members to change/ update it. I'll file it as a bug with the Invision team. Try 2FA authentication again, it should be fixed... Ted. Edited August 10 by Teddy Rogers Added more context... 1
fearless Posted August 10 Posted August 10 Could be because they have old cookies and not cleared them, hence the older stuff lingering about. 1
LCF-AT Posted August 10 Author Posted August 10 Hi again, I tried to login from other FF browser instance (other sandbox) with my main account data and there I get that security question to see and I did enter the security answer and peng & pau I'm IN! Also get that NAG now too in main browser using container tab. Did you fix that Ted? Not sure whether my Email I used is still working (years not checked). But also now I get this SQ nag every single time I do login. How to disable that device checking stuff Ted? PS: Not sure about other cookies but that day I just deleted all T4Y cookies only and it didn't work. OK, I think it seems to work now again but I just need to get a rid of that permanently showing SQ nag after fresh login. greetz 1
Teddy Rogers Posted August 11 Posted August 11 The security question "nag" will always prompt if it appears you are logging in from a new/ unknown device. 2FA is there as an extra layer of security. When logging in use the "Remember Me" checkbox and do not clear your cookies for this site, if you do not want to keep being prompted... Ted. 1 1
LCF-AT Posted August 11 Author Posted August 11 Hey Ted, so I did not delete my cookies for T4Y all the time just because of that popup SQ every time which is super annoying even it comes when logging in from same browser device. That means I have to disable my fingerprint & Co settings inside of Firefox settings to possible bypass that SQ nag on login. Even I get a bunch of Email message just because of that also when I have disable entire Email notifications on T4Y settings. Uhmm. Will see how to handle this again. greetz 1 1
Teddy Rogers Posted August 13 Posted August 13 The security question issue has been filed as bug with IPS, this is the response I received... Quote Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention! I can confirm this should be further reviewed and I have logged an internal bug report for our development team to investigate and address as necessary, in a future maintenance release. Ted. 2
