This Game Developer position will focus on reverse engineering popular MMO games, allowing data drive insights to be created to increase players performance. This company provides an analytics and strategy platform and your knowledge of game engine development will help to grow the number of games offered on the platform. Essentially you will be looking inside games to understand how to collect appropriate statics around players gameplay. Good knowledge of debuggers and disassemblers such as WinDBG Ghidra, and IDA Pro would be very beneficial.

Experience needed:

  • Game engine development/reverse engineering
  • C, C++, x86/x64, or ARM assembly knowledge
  • Low level system programming

Some of the tools you may have used include:

  • IDA Pro
  • Cheat Engine
  • Themida
  • Process Hacker
  • Ghidra
  • WinDBG

This role does not require specific academic or work history experience, it needs someone who is knowledgeable about games and game play who enjoys experimenting and modifying existing software products.

If you have reversed engineered game engines in the past get in touch.
