SouljhazZ Posted January 4 Posted January 4 If you're on this forum, it probably means you're a reverse-engineering enthusiast. I'm a recruiter at Hex-Rays, the company that publishes the IDA Pro disassembly tool. We're currently looking for a Support Specialist/Engineer to join the team of Igor Skochinsky, our IDA Guru. If you're based in Belgium, we'll offer you a permanent contract, but if you're outside the country, it'll be freelancing. Don't hesitate to contact me directly for more information. fearless Posted January 4 Posted January 4 Nothing listed on the Hex-Rays website about support specialist only Software developer and DevOps Engineer. And on the LinkedIn page only C++ Developer, Backend Developer or Business Developer. Also nothing about a recruiter position as a list of staff, and the username SouljhazZ doesn't appear anywhere that I can see from searching online. I didn't download the pdf due to the above reasons. I would advise others to be cautious as well unless more information becomes available. 1

Kurapica Posted January 5 Posted January 5 I wouldn't use this way to hire someone to work in Hex-Rays where they impose high standards for picking customers. Just my opinion. 1 1

This approach may seem strange, but as a recruiter trying to make my way in this world, I try to adapt as best I can! 😅. You can visit Hex-Rays' Linkedin page and see my profile as Talent Acquisition. My name is Fabrice Randria, but SouljhazZ is the nickname I use on the internet for platforms like this. The position is legitimate. We try to recruit in the usual way, but people with reverse engineering skills aren't very common. I had to think a little outside the box for this position. That said, you can expect more posts from me for recruitment purposes 😀. 1 1
SouljhazZ Posted January 5 Author Posted January 5 Hello, He is well aware and appreciate the initiative actually! 🙂 Just so you know guys, finding people with such skills on Linkedin is not common... I have to adapt a little bit to find the best profile.😅

Just my opinion. Hello Kurapica, Killua's speaking 😎 YES indeed the high standards are still one of Hex-Rays values, however we are flexible on how to find the good profiles. It might looks like a odd way to proceed but it might also work.
Kurapica Posted January 6 Posted January 6 It's not about standards or skills, something like a security clearance, anyway it's just my opinion. According to these standards, you wouldn't want to hire a person who already uses cracks or even makes them or whatever, you know what I mean, but it's 2024 and nothing surprises me anymore. 1 1

You are right, I was just pointing to how many job offers in this field have strict rules and background checks. And I even saw some jobs with lie detection tests and even your race should be mentioned Nothing more to say, good luck to all applicants. 2
SouljhazZ Posted January 29 Author Posted January 29 Quote We found the candidate btw! We updated the website with the current open positons so don't hesitate to have a look from time to time! 1
