Hi guys,

just have a tiny question about the search function in the PM Box list.I was searching something and entered text into search mask and I got a found match. Now the question is how to jump to the right message XY found without to search the whole PM topic manually?

The search function already brings up the search result(s) to specific posts?

Hi Ted,

thanks for your answer but I wasnt talking about the forum searching.I was talking about the personal messages inbox conversations on the left side.At the bottom is also a search mask (messages & ttiles) I can choose. If something was found then I only get the User XY listed and thats all. There is nothing to jump directly to the found/s in this PM topic by user XY you know.I can only just search the whole PM topic itself from the start till the end.Thats pretty bad if I have large PM topics with 1000 +/- messages inside.I am just talking about the private PMs not about the open forum topics. Is there maybe any way to improve the search to get results listet of founds in topic xy and the message number or topic page etc?

Ah! My bad for not reading properly.

As far as I am aware the search function does not take you directly to the PM from the search results. You would need to CTRL+F from the browser after the initial PM search.

Happy to forward a feature request to IPS to have this improved in a future release?

Ted.
