I simply learned the correct format of the key. It was a piece of cake to work backwards after that, hardware breakpoints are great. I eventually learned the algorithm and how long the correct serial should be.

GautamGreat Posted September 21, 2017 Posted September 21, 2017 i am stuck at VA : 00455224 It looks like a procedure where generates a valid serial number. I stucked here. It is so complex for noobs like me. Can some one please explain how this algo works.
Solution VirtualPuppet Posted September 21, 2017 Solution Posted September 21, 2017 (edited) 2 hours ago, GautamGreat said: i am stuck at VA : 00455224 It looks like a procedure where generates a valid serial number. I stucked here. It is so complex for noobs like me. Can some one please explain how this algo works. It takes a serial-number vector (the parsed serial number) and the name-checksum string, then runs the algorithm on them to produce what is supposed to yield the same result as the name-hash. If the hashes are identical, the serial is considered "correct". Here's the full solution for reference: https://pastebin.com/6KCfACR4 Edited September 21, 2017 by VirtualPuppet 3
