he upgraded to the latest version (build november 7) and the problem persists.

I reopened the issue.

By the way, I don't think you "so simple" comment is appropriate. You have absolutely no idea what is involved in something "simple" such as restarting the debuggee and it doesn't motivate anyone to look at the issue (unless you set a $1000 bounty).
