Posted September 28, 20159 yr I am using visual studio 2013 ultimate extensions:RESHARPER just wondering what you talented people are using these days for programming in general? Edited September 28, 20159 yr by kerg
September 28, 20159 yr - Visual Studio 2015 Enterprise - ReSharper - NodeJS Tools - TypeScript for VS - PythonTools
September 28, 20159 yr VS2010 Professional for most of the private projects. No addons - I personally think they are more of an annoyance than help.
September 28, 20159 yr VS2013/2015 Ultimate (depending on the VM I'm using), no addons, not a big fan of Resharper.....slows everything down.
September 28, 20159 yr I used to work with VS 2008 and with one great addon called "CodeKana" lately and unfortunately I had to move to VS 2010 because some projects require this move.
September 29, 20159 yr Personally I prefer the latest version of the Visual Studio, it is 2015 now and the Visual Studio 2015 has came out, so I prefer Visual Studio 2015 at the time of this post. If there will be any new version of Visual Studio, I will switch to the latest version at the time of that year. For extensions, I prefer some debugging or decompiling extensions, just to know how the compiler compiles the code so that I will know how to improve my code at the programming. However, believe it or not, in my nation, NCRE(National Computer Rank Examination) of China, the IDE(Integrated Development Enviroment) is still Visual Studio 6, at 2015.
September 29, 20159 yr VS 2005 Pro / VS 2010 Ultimate / VS 2015 Community. VisualAssistX only for VS 2010. No addons for the rest.

September 29, 20159 yr Although VS 6 was released in the late 90s, it has sp6(6 service packs), and I have to deal with the old compiler compatibility.
