Try to disable the av.. or try to download the file inside your vm

Using long useless loops that waste lots of CPU cycles with time checking as an anti debug isn't a perfect method to achieve this goal. Any slow/choked CPU would fail to execute those useless calculations in a timely manner and hence the app will just exit.

IMO nobody is going to wait about 20 seconds for your app to finish it's iteration of useless junk code to get the invalid registration msgbox.

Perhaps. Maybe some explanation would put people's minds at ease.

Perhaps all false positives, but it would be nice to know for sure, you see. ;)

Yes... mine too

Guys for f*cks sake. op seems to enjoy using public protection tools on his crackmes and since this one isn't a exception some lame engines may go crazy on detection. Very usual. I am not against this but I literally can't download the original file because :

a) My vm doesn't have a internet connection (neither I want it to have)

b ) My computer contains way too much of important files and I am *NOT* going to disable my engine to download whatever files.

Even if the file seems dangerous - thats one additional reason for you to check it.

a. If only VMs had something like... snapshots... Oh, wait!

b. Sounds very much like "NOT our problem". And certainly not the problem of crackme author. Just skip this crackme and move on to the next one, alright?

EDIT: typo

he is right though, it is not your problem in deed
