sometimes all you need is some elegant highlighting to make reading easier and also a good addon shouldn't make

visual studio lag ! I have tried some addons and most of them are full of bloated and useless features and they make

visual studio very very slow.

It depends on one's coding style. Some ppl dont like addons while some do.

But in my opinion for those who like coding with such addons nothing beats Resharper.

that only supports .NET languages, though. No native c++.
