Hello guys,

Today I found this on a download. I think its a virus and I found that it is packed with Aspack.

I've sent this to avira but if you can, please take a look (using an isolated virtual machine)

Password: malware

DO THIS ONLY IF YOU ARE EXPERIENCED. I DO NOT KNOW WHAT THIS FILE IS CAPABLE OF.

Thanks for the help mate. I'll send this files to AV companies ;)

From avira:

The file 'codec.exe' has been determined to be 'MALWARE'. Our analysts named the threat TR/PCK.Tdss.Z.794. The term "TR/" denotes a trojan banana that is able to spy out data, to violate your privacy or carry out unwanted modifications to the system.Detection is added to our virus definition file (VDF) starting with version 7.01.05.244.
