Unlimited Downloading for files in www.tut4you.com

All of us and on a daily basis, we open tut4you.com and we download the 20 allowed files on our system.

Mr Teddy, is it possible to give us access for example 1 day each month or every 2 months or even 1 day every 1 year so we can download without limitation?

Um , do you?

Why?

You really want us to believe that you download, read, understand and test 20 downloads every single day?

Sounds like you're leeching to me and probably dont even know what you're downloading.

Rather than moan try this:

- start a project.... pick a protector to understand.

- download some unpackmes (they're packaged, so maybe 5 at most should keep you busy for a day)

- download some tuts for that protector..... max 5??

I fail to see where theres a problem unless you have some strange desire to simply download from the site and not do anything with it??

And to go along with Loki's post, if necessary, I am sure you can find alternative download sites on Google for most items.

Hehe Loki is after teddy pretty much the next one in charge around here... And Teddy will prolly say the same thing.

And it is his business, since you're leeching the site from valuable resources you could give an explanation why, it might help us to understand why you wish to download more. Since we really don't understand why, we/teddy won't do anything about it.

Interesting response... I gave you some (helpful) suggestions and you basically confirm that you have no plan to learn anything?

You wont be banned because you havent done anything wrong........ yet.

You did right Ted,

Anyway the main reason was to collect a collections of tutorials, protectors,

debuggers only for winter cold nights in desert  (Construction works ) where the internet

will be unavailable for the whole rotation.

And to be honest with you Loki, a year ago, i have no idea about cracking,

but with these 2 mentioned websites www.tut4you.com & ARTeam i learned quite enough and still looking to learn more.

Loki, I was little rude with my first reply but i pull it back because you are a member of tuts4you.com

and one of the persons who is helping us to improve our cracking skills.

I was thinking 20 a day is too much. Who could possible need 20 tutorials a day or tools a day?!? It just seems stupid to even bring it up, as they aren't going to change the rules for one person.

Posted

Rules or download will probably not get changes like Teddy said it got abused.. BuT never the less if you download like 5 unpackmes and swf video tuts.. for example whole thinstall all versions all tuts.. 20 isnt handy..

Guys,

When we want to add a comment, lets put some useful information.

Its not matter of having on our profiles huge number of posts without meaning like the comment of Int_80.

Best regards

Ted.

I hope that I'm replying to this correctly... Let me know if I'm not. I saw the 20 downloads per day and was wondering what that means specifically. Is it "within 24 hours", or from some specific time forward, say at midnight GMT or something? Not to be disrespectful, or with any intention of leeching, but when I found Lena's "Reversing for Newbies" series I was very excited. Like a squirrel finding a pile of nuts, with winter coming, I wanted to secure the pile to watch a few a day. I downloaded 10, I think, plus some programs for it yesterday, then today I downloaded a few more of the tutorials and got the limit notice.

I am OCD and somewhat paranoid, not to mention that I never know when or if my Internet will be up until I get a secure income again. The job market sucks. All of the other tutorials, especially on YouTube, are horrendous. Sound too low or missing, camera bouncing all over like they're on a bumpy road, blurry, and the video likely accelerated as if they only want to make others believe they are far smarter than they are. Irritating. Even if they can move through the steps that fast (we all can do that with something we've done a thousand times), it's obvious their intention isn't teaching or that they are just clueless about how to. I see the same thing when I check out the playing 50 Sit 'n' Gos (poker tournaments) at a time. Complete BS at least 99% of the time. Not to be rude, but it's almost as if they're all trying to prove they've got the biggest "package". Anyway. So refreshing to see someone secure in their knowledge and intelligence put so much work into something that they really enjoy and want to teach! if there are other good reverse engineering tutorials out there I'd appreciate someone letting me know! If that's allowed. Still a little fuzzy about all of the rules though I've read them.

Anyway, sorry to babble on...

20 is handy for my taks for instance. I am comparing data in all tuts4you posted Armadillo unpackmes for a soon-to-come surprise. Therefore, the 5-downloads limit sux big time at this point. But oh well, I got other places to look for the needed files. No tuts4you going in the Credits I guess ;-)

Well, you can just change your IP... :teehee:

actually, i think its very reasonable, i also had a similar predicament where i needed as many files as possible to test protection id against, and the limit kicked in, so i spoke with the mods, and got something sorted out.. quite honestly 20 per day is more than reasonable, if you need more and have a sufficient, justifiable reason then email / pm one of the mods and discuss it, they are INCREDIBLY reasonable.. the reason the 20 limit is there is to stop the site being hammered by leechers, and 99.9% of them usually have no real justificiation to want all the files, some just want to look leet that they have big collections etc..

put simply , the site is a nice site, friendly, and warm, with lots of information and files that definately took a long time to build up, so its perfectly understandable as to why they would want to protect the content

Well, i try to hide my IP by using one of hidding IP programs, but it didnt work !!!
