Not bad idea, poor implementation (don't know if it was intentional).

One can reduce the quartic polynomial to a linear equation if he sets the coefficients a,b,c and d to 0 (you haven't eliminated the possibility to reduce the poly to one of lower degree).

The attached keygen is based on this exploit.

The idea of playing with REAL4 binary representation was cool (also don't know if it was intentional :) )
