We are testing our GBA emulator and added a protection to it. Can you bypass it? We need to know this, because

we want to make it harder to crack/bypass.

NOTE: There are no rules, bypass the messagebox as you want, loader, patcher, whatever! But, make sure you

tell us how you did it!

Goal: Get past the first window message... Good Luck!

NOTE: Can you also post how you did it, as a summary. Thanks, I will appreciate it very MUCH!

- GBA Advance is free.

- the last update was in 2005

Besides, it doesn't even work on my comp, because you apparently just uploaded the main executable but not the needed dlls.

Are you sure you're the developer ? Think again :o

I am one of the main developers of that emulator. Or to be more precise, a fork.

Over the past view days, some lamers have been aiming to steal our work and claim it as thier own. I guess this person posting the crack request is one of them :( .

This method was used simply to stop noobs hex editing the executable. I didn't think you guys would have any troubles with it, since hey, its not intended for people with experience in RCE. And plus, I had a friend of mine hack it in under 10 minutes.

So thank you guys for not bothering with this leeching idiot. It really restored my faith in humanity :) .

Hi guys, im Squall, im one of the REAL developers of VBA-M, as you can see by looking at the executables about box. (if you have the files required to open it)

Our site is over at vba-m.ngemu.com/forums so if you need any validation i can post a thread as proof that i am one of the developers.

The OP is nothing but a hack, we implemented this protection to prevent him from reshacking our compiles and redistributing them under the guise that there has been changes made.

We had to do this after finding he was distributing the app with suspect files,.. for instance, a dll file with no pe header, and a com file, which as we all know, are common files to send virus's in.

We have already had his freewebs site shut down for violations of the ToS, and now it seems he is attempting to get you guys to crack the exe, since he hasn't got the intelligence to do it himself.

With this, i hope you carry out

If it is a commercial target or of someone else's work you will be banned for crack requesting.

There is a newer version based on the 2007 SVN, i had mudlord compile it for testings sake, and i also released it to the ngemu board for those that want it.
