Hello guys ,

I made this KeygenMe about 3 months ago in AT4RE ... and i would like to share it here just for fun :happy: .

-------------------

The KeygenMe is not Packed/Encrypted .

The Algorithm is really for kids , but beware of tricks .

I need a working Keygen NOT a serial for ur name .

Good luck,

GM

I thought i had it all serials this generates work when keygenme is loaded in olly but don't when it is not ?????

You need to check for anti debugging measures then.

It must be detecting your Olly and modifying the algo.

Heh, this one was very very easy.

Let's start posting some tough ones people!

@dustyh1981 your keygen doesn't work !!

@Kaksii your keygen doesn't work !!

@Ahmed18: my keygen does work.

Oh wait, there might be a trick for the xor operation. Lemme check.

You must have missed something mate as its not working here (neither does the exit button?)

Not looked at it myself but try either

- testing outside the debugger

- looking for something which is making it machine dependent. Maybe there is a value you thought was hard coded but actually its generated previously.

Just some suggestions off the top of my head - not looked at it though so I may well be wrong! :)

Yeah, I edited my post.

Forget about my Exit button. I did it in 3 mins.

I said mine didnt work in my first post

Yep, the 'key' that xors the bytes of name is generated, not hardcoded.

I'll take a look at it later.

Nice ownage. The xor value is defined, before u even reach the entry point ^^

rofl, at the same time :D

TLS?

I'm going to try and have a look over the weekend - sounds interesting. :)

Doubt it. First time I saw OEP, I thought the code is just obfuscation, but it is actually generating the xor value.

But it looks, you know... obfuscated.

Hehe.

I guess, I got the place :bunny:

Cheers

Eheh, both keygens don't work on my pc!

C'mon guys, try to look better ;)

Working ... GJ man

here is my solution - keygen + self-keygen ;)
Both not working for me :blink:

The keygen never reaches the initdialog.. dunno why. So it just quits.

The selfkeygen crashes, when entering a serial and hitting check. Maybe

u're using a not imported function ?

/EDIT: Yes, you do. You mustn't use static addresses for dll calls in CodeCaves...

XPSP2 over here.

Ufo-Pu55y:

i have no idea what is the problem with the keygen, it works fine on my XP SP2 machine. :( the self-keygen uses MessageBoxA (the function is imported) to display the correct serial. both solutions work fine here.

here's the source

edit: i think i've fixed the self-keygen
