note : this prog can not run on win9x-me-2k systems because activeX must be reged

with regsvr32 but run on XP systems...

I'm sorry, I didn't. Just wanted to make clear that this cannot be the problem. And, how I see that, the author provided a new solution.

Hey I didn't realise the way it sounded when I posted that, sorry. I had realised a a day or two later it might not be the case but I had already deleted the target and never had enough interest to download it again and check further.

One way to deal with the problem is this - hook GetACP and GetSystemDefaultLangID and make them return ENGLISH values
