For the last few days anytime I try to open to the www.Tuts4you.com main page I get a blank page and my browser says done. Before that I was able to get onto the site fine but not anymore. I am able to access the forum and all of the forum directories but nothing else. Any help to find out why would be appreciated. Thanks

Works fine for me.... you're IP may have been blocked or restricted somehow. Some people have been using site downloaders and so Ted may have done some blocking. Sure he'll let you know if its something our end rather than your end

I'm not sure, maybe this has something to do when your browser gives to many request to load the page.

So the Forum is thinking somebody want to make a flood an just blocks that.

I remember to reloaded the page in the past a few times too fast within a minute and get finally an error 500.

When there was no restriction on downloading in place people abused the site and it caused us to get a lot of error 500's and other nasties which has effected other people from enjoying the rest of the site and ****ed me off very, very much and given me headaches long in to the evening for a long, looonnng time trying to find the cause of the problem.

I'm not going to lift those bans and the limitation should only effect those mass downloaders abusing the site - or hammering it. Of course I know how download managers work. Unfortunately I'm not removing the restriction I think that is as good as final.

Take what you need, not the whole site. Tuts 4 You is not going anywhere so there is no need to feel like you have to download everything in case it all disappears or whatever reason people have for mass downloading...

Ted, I'm really surprised that you never imagined about some guys, who are doing that, config the flashget to follow all links and let us see rls at many sites like 2baksa or so on.. Also, this AIO-Pack trend seem to have no end. SnD is just an example. Finally, letting me sometimes thinking about: Where are the difference between Snd and 0day?

I was thinking that i had to login at the tuts4you site in order to use the forum, i later found that out. I didnt realize they were two different logins. That would explain that.

In other words, you need to create an account there first - it is not linked to the IPBoard forum database so you need a separate account.
