Virtual machines (hereinafter "VMs"), which decode and execute commands written in a low-level proprietary byte code format in a miniature operating environment, are now a mainstream technique in all areas of software protection, from crackmes and commercial packers to industrial-grade protections. In this document, TheHyper's HyperUnpackMe2, located at http://crackmes.de/users/thehyper/hyperunpackme2/, is unpacked statically. This document is an exercise in overkill.
