Guest sn111ke
Hi.I saw this on a warez forum that I used to be a member of, but which has been taken over by other people, & changed into a non-warez forum. They have a 'Legal Issues', with the following post in. The post is by the forum admin:"I think there is a lot of websites on the net that are bringing many illegal materials that should be put down, if you find any of this pages, feel free to place them in a reply or make a thread and introduce this website a little so we can report them on any agency."They then have the following later on in the post:"and Bill Clinton's so called law is not real law at alltype in Internet Privacy Act signed by Bill Clinton in 1995 in google and go to the first web result http://www.lpconline.com/internet_privacy_act.htmlIt fully explains in full detail the so called internet privacy act is a phony and is a fake.if you see a site using this disclaimer you know in some way they're related to something illegal"I though that this was wonderful - these people want to regulate the Net!!!If you want to see it yourself (and assuming that the mods here allow this), the site is: http://www.prousers.net/legal-issues/144-legal-issues.htmlI personally think that these guys should be taught a lesson.Enjoy.Peace
cektop
Yea. We knew that but does it matter? Like anyone gives rats *** for Clintons law in my country... And also in countries of most of our members. It looks cool Should we remove it ppl?
Teddy Rogers
Whether piracy is bad or not without it the growth of the internet would have not been anywhere near as rapid as it was. People didn't mind warez and cracks virtually all the way through the 90's ( and last few years ) because everyone was doing it and tolerated it. Now that the internet is bigger and there can be money to made from it the law mongers want to come in and control it. Everybody wants their piece of the cake now... Ted. Teddy Rogers
and whole london is under camera survilance, and stupid people accept it, but crimes dont go lower. but gov can see you everywhere. Thats only central London and only because you get charged for the privilage of driving your car in there. Sundays are free but if like me you drive in central London on a Sunday and drive out on the Wednesday you still have the pleasure of paying. Yep, you have to pay to actually drive out of central London! Money for nothing... Ted.
hosiminh
Money for nothing... If you are bad_boy you get picture from surveilance cameras scattered around London. Well if that isn't something ? Really well spended money
Whiterat
The UK had gone totally overboard, to the point of your rubbish bins being tagged so that they can monitor how much you put in there, etc! Crazy!! This is why I detest working in this damned country, Cyprus is far better. 1 Speed Camera in the whole of paphos And they gave us 6 months warning before activating it! Guest Buzifer
I don't think people hosting cracks/warez is doing it in a country where it is under US law. Appznet/RESURRECTiON for example is based in Singapore wich has one of the most free internet laws in the world. So offshore hosting is definately a good choice. One country can't 'own' the rights to the internet and it laws. Btw what is prousers.net seems like a lot of activity there. "Most users ever online was 18, 08-21-2006 at 11:34 AM." Cyprus is thataway, dont let the door hit you on the arse on yer way out Watch your tone, I am expressing an opinion as is my right todo so. If you have a problem with that then take it up with me via PM. Buzifer: Yes offshore hosting is a prerequisite when doing anything related to cracking, as these american made laws change so often; simply looking at a disassembled program will soon be illegal im sure. ICU is hosted in Malaysia which is sadly rather hit and miss in regards to connection quality, downtime, support, etc but we have yet to encounter a legal issue and *touch wood* we should be just fine. Whiterat
I've cleared it out ready for your argument Just for the record, I am half english and have spent more time here than there and I still hold my point. I most probably put a damn site more money into this countries economy than you do. Right lets leave the rest of this out of the public's view, Bring it on
Teddy Rogers
When you guys have finished... When I have been in Singapore I found that a lot of sites were restricted. Does anyone know if that is intentional and by design of the government or could that have been simply due to ISP filtering? Ted.
s0me0ne
too right I have a problem with foreigners criticizing my countryoh dont be so patriotic. he only said what most us think anyway it is crazy bugging our binsfor a start look at who runs the country, Tony B-LIAR, George Bush the warmonger`s lap dog.if the arseholes that run this country had their way we would all be under marshall law they just want you you to work till your dead, take half your wages in tax and the other half in more tax on most things we buy, and what do they do with it?spend it on holidays, rentboys or seducing their secretary`s.The rubbish WE recyle, they cash in on and then pay to ship the unrecyclable stuff to china to put in their landfill sites, and still increase our council tax every year.Problem solved. i could go on about the state of this country but its neither the time nor the place.this country has gone to the dogs. Britain has not been GREAT for years (new labour, new danger)which is why quite a few of my mates have escaped to austrailia or americajust my opinion. Teddy Rogers
I escaped to Australia I loved the UK but as you mention its turned to ****. I don't understand why anyone wants to move to the UK these days... Ted.
Whiterat
It could be quite interesting having a seperate, well moderated, thread about this.In my reply to zako I mentioned such things as the horrendous tax, etc. Its certainly changed alot.... zako
oh dont be so patriotic.err, why not? taxes? I earn enough to live comfortably so I don't moan about such trivial things, when we start persecuting you or worse for your religious or political views you will have something to complain about. As for security measures mentioned earlier, we should wait for a "september 11" here before implementing them?. I do find it somewhat ironic in view of your "bush lapdog" comments some of your mates "escaped" to the states. This is still the finest country on the planet, witness how many are happy to leave their homeland to come and live here.
