better is screenflash 1.7

I did a keygen for the 1.7 version July 2005. I guess the author did not like the keygen as an on line check has been added to the latest 1.7 build. :^

Check release page for updated keygen and info on how to block the online check

Ziggy, do you know what has been updated apart from the online check - any new features?

Don't know for sure. I released the keygen July 05 for version 1.7. The website shows a 1.7 version "updated" in August 05 but no history of the previous 1.7 version.

3/8/2005 ScreenFlash1.7 updated! (Need to input your existing register information again)

Main new features in version1.7:

1. PowerPoint add-in

Click "Record"in PowerPoint toolbar, everything in the presentation will be recorded.

2. Remove IE warning message.

3. New timeline mode.

I've been using Macromedia Captivate for my tutorials, but need to find something else. Captivate is a good program and is easy to use, but the problem that I'm having is that the file size becomes very large when recording full motion captures. Because my tuts are for Photoshop, I need good resolution, and a high quality capture. I also like to save them as a standalone executable. The tut that I just recorded was over 30 Meg :( and it wasn't any longer than my previous tutorials. Has anyone used Instant Demo? I've read that it's the best for high quality full motion captures. There is a new version (5.0), but I have seen any releases for it. Anyone have any suggestions?

I've also seen some tutorials where the recordings are in a .MOV format, and the interface/menu is flash. Each movie was entirely a full motion capture, the files were small in size, and of good quality. Anyone know how they accomplished this? I think I the tutorials that I'm refering to were from lynda.com
