Ziggy
There's are lots of DVD/CD rippers, creators, this to everything converters .... out there. I'm sure one cracker can only crack so many before they go off "crack happy" into some quiet place So my question is Which is the best suite of DVD/CD ripper, creator, converter....... apps out there? Probably there are 2 or 3 good sets of apps to do the job. Maybe the best suites are Apollo, Aone, Imtoo (Xilisoft) , Plato... or whatever? BTW : This is not meant to be a way of making a "crack request" Ziggy

Sigma
For me I've found:DVD Decryptor for ripping from DVDDVD Shrink for ripping from DVD as well as shrinking a DVD9 image to a DVD5Nero for burningProCoder 2 for reencoding anything.
spiderhole
I use CloneDVD to rip movies without compression to my drive, and then use DVD Rebuilder with Procoder 2 to re-encode down to a 4.5 gig DVD. CloneDVD does a nice job of letting you easily select which audio streams and extras to leave out (if that's what you want), and I've shrunk high bitrate 3 hour movies down to a single 4.5 gig DVD with good results using DVD Rebuilder. I then use Nero to burn.People probably have different opinions and preferences on ripping programs, but I don't think there are many...if any...programs comparable to DVD Rebuilder. It's a really great, flexible, powerful program.
Guest Findme
i think this falls under this unless i have to make a topic .. hmm what would do the job for a ipod converter? ( ive been seeing a lot of them but dont know which ones are good ). im looking for one with a lot of features and gives you the chance to change the aspect ratio cuz i hate those 16:9 movies
DrPepUr
I don't know about the best but I bet I have worked on 15 of them and I havent looked at the actual offsets but I swear you could make one patch and crack all of them, they use very simular reg routines, often are packed with the same packer, and besides some skinned varaitions they all look the same. But as personal prefrence I prefer Magic DVD Ripper.. Edited February 27, 2008 by dustyh1981

Rest use a few odds and sods algos.Magic DVD Ripper used a very simple hash reg algo last time I looked at it.Z Edited March 3, 2008 by Ziggy
