Teddy Rogers
I have just been trying out Online Radio Tuner: http://www.bassictech.com/ It seems pretty good so far, I am happy with playback and recording however just some minor bad points; AAC+ seems to crackle a little at times and another is you need to have .NET Framework 2 installed to be able to use it. Apart from that its a pretty cool freeware application... Ted.

Guest Tundra
I just realized yesterday that I could also use foobar2000 for audio converting as well, it's quite a versatile program You can convert from pretty much any audio format to the other, along with tag handling/converting as well. FreeDB CD tagging is also available with a plugin. The list of supported audio formats for decoding (some require a plugin, you can download these at foobar2000.org) include: MP1, MP2, MP3, MP4, MPC, AAC, Ogg Vorbis, FLAC / Ogg FLAC, WavPack, WAV, AIFF, AU, SND, CDDA, APE, MOD, S3M, XM, IT, 669, PTM, PSM, MTM, and UMX. And for encoding: APE, FLAC, MP3 (Lame), MP4, Musepack, Ogg Vorbis, WAV, and WavPack

Sigma
I suppose I'll add somethingAbout Screamer RadioThere is little reason to listen to commercial FM radio anymore, it is an old medium that provides little choice of music and is saturated with ads. For the last couple of years there has been an alternative, streaming internet radio. An alternative that has been somewhat complicated to use.Screamer Radio attempts to remedy this problem by bringing most of the required steps into a single, easy to use, freeware program.I find its quite fantastic!http://www.screamer-radio.com/As wellJBuilder 2006 FoundationGet going with Java development on the Microsoft Windows, Linux, and Solaris,™ platforms. Guest leezarobin
One of my favorite freeware apps is FreeRAM XP Pro. It allows you to instantly free up RAM and a lot of other options that are, as of yet, beyond my beginner's grasp but the the thing I like best is that you can minimize it to the system tray and it sits there displaying the amount of free RAM. Cool, huh?Lisa
