Firefox - Can you open a copied link and open in new tab to a new page without http line??

hey all

dumb question here

Can you open a copied link (hi-lighted right click copy way) and open to a new tab/page option with firefox without the http???

when im checking out whoknows news links for example i do it as mentioned above but would be more effective if that option was avail lsomehow as the question states (woah..hope that made sense haha a lil baked :) )

just lazy :)

No Firefox does not recognise it as a link without the http(s)

Direct clickable links on some forums are changed so they are not clickable (Removing the 'backlinks'). This is done by either removing the http(s) or by adding the links in a code block

With a code block you can double click and then right click to open in a new tab but not with http removed

So you can either double click & copy the link and then paste & go into the address bar or beg whoknows to change future posts with links in code tags 😉
