Hello guys,
I need your help, please.
Many old reverse engineering tutorials on tuts4your use this program: Instant Demo
https://www.instant-demo.com/download.php

I installed this program again but now it not possible anymore because it always ask for Flash

I tried to follow here but these solutions works only for browsers but not for software that use Flash
https://superuser.com/questions/1616866/use-flash-player-after-12-jan-2021

Is there a solution or an alternative? Because I really like Instant demo to do the tutorials in particular the 'comic' mode of the captions and the use of hostpots.
Are there any other software like this?
Thank you for any help

Hi.

You need to have installed a standalone flash player. Install Macromedia Flash Player (v8 for example), and then it will work!

A very good alternative is FlashBack Player (also used in a lot of tutorials)

search for flash player debug and download it for your os, then open the file and open with the downloaded exe

Thank you very much.
I followed your instruction and I download Macromedia from here
http://www.oldversion.com/windows/macromedia-flash-player-10

I install flashplayer10_1r53_64_winax and after that the error message vanished.

P.S: I haven't tested it yet, but I also report this

you can still install latest flash version and patch Flash32_32_0_0_465.ocx, NPSFW32_32_0_0_465.dll/NPSFW64_32_0_0_465.dll

Hi guys,

I aslo have a problem using a small app which needs some flash installed files (ocx) I don't have anymore and I also can not install a flash ax installer. :( On internet I found some infos to uninstall flash (I dont have flash on Win 10 x64) and then to install flash using "install_flash_player_ax32.....exe" in a Win 7 com. mode but this dosen't work and I get a info.....

FL_2021-10-03_222317.png.4b08f54d2c0b9b442d907ea765e8dcd7.png

...and can not install flash. So in my case its not working.Of course I can use the standalone flashplayer like "flashplayer_32_sa" to run flash files into but other tools need to have access on those flash ocx & NPSFW files which gets created on installing. My question now is where to get those files without doing a install (fails in my case)? So I do remember that ocx files / dlls can be registered manually (did few times on Win 7 long time ago).Maybe its also not needed and just need to have those ocx file in same app folder to make it run / not sure yet.Just wanna ask whether you do know what I can do or whether anyone of you could upload your flash / ocx files / from installing (x32) so that I could try it manually etc to make it maybe work.Thank you.

Hi,

thanks but I was not talking about the StandAlone Player (you can still dl on Adobe) which I can use directly for flash files.I was talking about the activeX file what other tools need to run flash. :) Anyway, so I found a old (v7) flash32..ocx file on internet and did register it manually on system and now the tool is working. :) Didn't found a newer ocx version but its also working with that old one.
