Do you know any good gamepad?

Hi guys,

last year I bought two imitation SNES gamepads (pack) which I wanted to use to play older Emulator games. So the pad was working normaly without problems but now after few months the pad dosen't work anymore correctly what means I have a problem with one button which dosen't jump back anymore immediately or in worst case it does just hang without to jump back anymore.Pretty shit of course. :) I did open the pad to check out what the problem is and it is the button rubber thing (don't know the technical term for that) which is super thin and one button thing you can press down on that rubber seems to be worn out or maybe there is any small crack etc.All in all I can't fix it and I just could turn around that rubber pad thing with 180° (did fit too) and now I can use the button again but now the other button has the problem of course but this I'am just using rarly.

So the point now is that I would like to buy any other and better (long life) gamepad/s but don't know which are good you know.I always come up with those gamepads from Logitech 710 and 310.What do you think about these?I don't like that dual shock button thing and would prefer some without that but I think all newer pads using that shock stuff right.Anyway, so I think some of you guys are some Emulator game fans or just fans of moddern games and just would like to know some of your experience using some xy gamepads and know which are good or from which I should  better keep my hands off.Thank you.

I use the MS xbox wireless controller for modern PC games and emulator games (using launchbox)

Hhmm, that pad looks like a huge knockers. :) Very big.So I do prefer some more smaller pads. The SNES pad for example has the right size / shape to play games comfortable.Otherwise maybe some old playstation type pads (without dual stuff) would be also good.Just remember that from the 90's when I was playing with it so that was laying good in hand.I'am not sure about those dual buttons whether they would disturb me when playing with such a pad.So at the end I just would like to prevent buying another shit pads you know.

You can use any old USB controller for emulator games, maybe some old playstation ones as you suggest. Maybe try ebay for old controllers or boot sale if / when lockdown ends
