Looking for a mentor/group

Hi, i'm not good on introduce myself, so I'm going to get right to the point, I'm a beginner practicing every day, but most of the time I fail on my task (I find important instructions, but then nothing work), I'm searching a mentor or a group to talk with (and that tell me where I'm wrong), I can't ask single question when i don't know what to ask, hope you understand me ahaha, if someone will anwer I will appreciate it a lot, thank for reading.

At the moment this is what I did:

- I readed the book Learning Malware Analysis(my final objective is to become a Malware Analyst)

- Followed some videos of Lena151

- Practiced with some programs

I noticed that my thread received a lot of views, but no one answered me, so I will give more information, I readed this: https://lifeinhex.com/tag/lena151/ and to everyone reading this thread, I'm not a wanna-be-cracker, I knew from the first seconds of the first part of the course that the course wasn't a course for reverse engineering, but it teaches me some useful scheme and concepts for cracking and a proof of that is that I preceded some concepts that lena151 teached in the course because I learned fundamentals concepts from the book (and other stuff from exploring for passion and curiosity, I have a video on youtube of myself years ago [when i was a kid] using Resource Hacker).

I wrote this because I know who I want to be from when I was 6 and reading the blog of kao and thinking that people would think that I'm just a wanna-be-cracker it get me upset, and is impossible that everyone reading this thread doesn't have a group or doesn't want to teach to another person.

I hope someone will answer and not read few lines and give a tag of wanna-be-cracker.

After all everyone started as beginner.

Age of teams and groups is over, now knowledge is mostly public on the web, you don't need a tutor or a group to improve your skills.

You can ask about anything and people will try to help, The downloads section in tuts4you is a compilation of knowledge from many

people along the years, probably you will need months or maybe more than a year to digest all the info there.

any time you need help, you can always ask here.

Have a look at this: https://class.malware.re/ - there's a lot of stuff, some really good, some average. But I'm sure you'll be able to learn a lot. Perhaps MalwareUnicorn's trainings are a good place to start.

It's a huge investment of time, so I wouldn't expect someone to be available on chat 24/7 just for you. But as Kurapica said, you could ask your questions here, provide as much info as possible, and someone will (eventually) look at it.

i don't know how good are his courses, but back in time he taught me a lot of tricks, and he is friendly.

A person that I know found a mentor and a group (he like game hacking), so I was trying to find the same, but I understand.

As others are saying you can always post your questions in the forum and people will try to answer them .

In case you want someone 24h helping you, I don't think that anybody would be willing to do that except if there is money involved.

It is all paid stuff. Needs a monthly subscription and they claim to teach it in bits and pieces every month.

Yeah, even if not 24 hours, most of them only show the carrot and bait you. If you want the real deal then they ask you to pay up, in whichever way it is disguised.

The only real way to help yourself is to learn to do it all yourself, in a disciplined way.

If you are willing to spend money then you can hire someone to complete the task or to teach you. Trying to get free help is in most cases nothing more than a frustrating waste of precious time.
