LCF-AT
Hi guys, I did update my Brave browser to latest version (small while ago) V1.11.97 but I found a nasty bug I dont wanna have.Problem should be any Java issue and showing listings correctly. Not sure how this is called but you know websites who using Java listings which gets open automatically when you scroll down a page right. So this is working so far but on some pages you have a button to load more listings and right there happens the problem. When I press that button then more content gets loaded and shown but the browser jumps directly to the end of the new content and I as user have to scroll manually up many pages to reach the location where I was stand before etc.So this is really annoying and sucks. I also checked the latest Chrome Browser now I this has the same bug what means that the "Chromium version 84.0.4147.89" should be the problem. I also tried this latest ChromeDev version... GoogleChromePortableBeta_84.0.4147.85_online.paf.exe GoogleChromePortable_84.0.4147.89_online.paf.exe GoogleChromePortableDev_85.0.4183.16_online.paf.exe GoogleChromePortableDev_85.0.4183.38_online.paf.exe ....which has still same bug. After that I tried another older version.... GoogleChromePortable64_83.0.4103.116_online.paf.exe ....and this was working again = no bug. My question now is whether its possible to undo / downgrade to a older version etc which used that Chromium 83 version? Maybe this error above in those version depends on the used Java Script version... Brave with that bug.. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Brave 1.11.97 Chromium: 84.0.4147.89 (Official Build) (64-bit) Revision 19abfe7bcba9318a0b2a6bc6634a67fc834aa592-refs/branch-heads/4147@{#852} OS Windows 10 OS Version 1909 (Build 18363.959) JavaScript V8 8.4.371.19 <---- Flash 32.0.0.387 Chrome without that bug.... ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Google Chrome 83.0.4103.116 (Offizieller Build) (64-Bit) Überarbeitung 8f0c18b4dca9b6699eb629be0f51810c24fb6428-refs/branch-heads/4103@{#716} Betriebssystem Windows 10 OS Version 1909 (Build 18363.959) JavaScript V8 8.3.110.13 <---- Flash 32.0.0.403 .....anyway, just wonder why they didnt found and fixed that problem yet. greetz

whoknows
Brendan Eich created JavaScript while he was working at Netscape. After Internet Explorer killed Netscape, he co-founded Mozilla and restarted the browser wars to take down Internet Explorer with Firefox. Several years later, when Google dominated the web with Chrome, Eich created Brave to fundamentally change the economics of the internet.
kao
2 minutes ago, whoknows said: Eich created Brave to fundamentally change the economics of the internet. ...and failed to make a dent. 5millions daily active users won't change anything anytime soon.
