Hello everybody, I am new here!

Hello,

I'm a new person here, and I want to say hi. I knew about this site since a long time ago because of some tutorials I read. It helped me to learn some basic things, and I'm very thankful for that. Recently, I have ran into some packed files that I am struggling to unpack, and I thought that I would start to communicate with other people who have much more experience than me. Maybe one day, I can unpack this binary (i hope!).

If someone would please recommend unpacking tutorials and techniques for beginners, that would be lovely.

Thank you.

MatiasMunk

Hi all, I just felt like introducing myself to the forum to get the best possible start in this field of work.

So, my name is Matias and I've been fiddling with computers since a young age and just recently thought to myself to start learning Reverse Engineering.

It's always been on the list on what to learn to do, so here I am :)

What I'm aiming for in the long term is to be able to implement multiplayer in a singleplayer game (Kind of how GTA:Network has done it) that died out a long time ago.

Advice appreciated.. Welp, since I am new to this whole RE scheme , anyone pointing a finger in the right direction to come closer to my goal is enough :P

Dear new forum members, typically an introduction would be nice on such a post which gives some background or information about your interest in the field e.g. what you have done or learned in the past, what you expect to learn or gain from the forum, how you expect to contribute, etc...  This is typically useful so people can learn a thing or two about you as they can always refer to this post.  But just stating that you are new is already obvious from the forum new member registration list.

Perhaps the admin can clarify this better than I can but these posts being unmoderated and ignored are pretty much going to encourage lurkers and such types and not contributors.

Hello everyone. I am new to this website but not the scene. I have used patcher's before and reverse engineered some programs before but not anything hard. I hope me registering to this website will help me know more and talk to the community.

Hello once more, everyone!  I though it would be correct to introduce myself one more time, as I display a new account.  I'm Oliver;  an once old registered user from this forum, by the handle of ViLXDRYAD;  It's a pleasure for me to know familiar faces are still hanging around by!  And also a joy to see a plenty of new fellows who looks for expertise.

I'm looking for utmost knowledge about digital media's data structures, different processor's instructions, reverse engineering, and along several other personal interests, coding for old hardware and specifications.

There's plenty of information here for me to dig on.  I'm looking forward to contribute back once an appropriate time for me to, comes.  For now I'll remain rather silent until I've first accomplished all my reading dues.

Cheers!

Why a new account?

Ted.

Hi, Ted!

Much has happened for me in a personal level since I had last went by my old handle;  and felt several intricacies of my individuality has now shaped in a way that I deem contrasting that of myself long time ago, thus I considered appropriate to make use of a new account to reflect my own current comfortable means of interaction.

Best regards.
