How to check links whether they are online?

Hi guys,

short question.Does someone of you know any tools who can check whether a homepage or links or direct IPs are online or not?

Exsample:

Below I enter some addresses or IPs etc.      Scan Status----------------------------------------------------------http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KfWyo2mqXnw     Onlinehttp://173.194.32.35                           Onlinehttp://173.194.32.55:8080                      Offline

Something like this I mean.I enter some links which I wanna let check if I press the scan button and then it should show me only the result whether its online or not without to check all links manually.Maybe you know some little free tool what can check this quickly.

Thanks for this target hint.Ok I have test this too but I think this seems to be more to complex.Many setting etc and don't know them all.If I enter a address as www.google.de and press start then I don't see a info whether its on or off etc.Do you know maybe some other simple tools?

I think you will find it OK with an example.

 

So create a new entry

 

1st tab should look like this

 

 

 

2nd tab should look like this

 

 

The exact phrase I found by using Firefox on the home page and right-click on page and select 'View Page Source'. Then locate some text that will only be present when the Home Page is loaded successfully by the Web server.

 

That's all you need for the check, the other tabs are related to the actions that you want to take depending on whether the check fails or succeeds
