I would like to get the settings that Lena innocent.gif or other have used with Instant Demo screen casting software they had used to make small sized good quality tutorials. A few things that derived from playing around were

  1. Time play of the video did not matter (because i was eventually able to drag a 10 second screenclip to more than 3 minutes)
  2. Smaller mouse movement, lesser the size( but i watched the whole series & the mouse had been dancing through the screen)
  3. Lower the frame rate, makes small sized videos
  4. & last how do you put that hot-spot to navigate to next frame in each and every frame?

I guess you will have to play around a bit to find the settings that work best for you since the recording software has changed a lot since the days that I recorded those movies and as such, it's not so straightforward to just pass on previous settings. Good luck!

Yup that is true too since your tutorials were dated back to 2006. I did tinker with the settings more and found out lower the screen capture frame rate lowered the file size by whooping 60% and no loss to quality.[i recommend this setting if a tutorial is to be made that has loads of textual content like lena's] btw Lena is there a source where i can download the Win32.hlp file Google does not answer me with right one for this.

It was a big one, previously before i wiped out my reversing tools i had one that was nearly 2mb size. I had found another one too in the wild from the Google search
