ANTI-DMCA BATTLE OF THE YEAR! PART 1

IPS of DMCA WATCHDOGS AND MORE!!!

Reason of why this list posted - MANY SITES SHUTDOWNED IN LAST TIME for their DMCA.

Even for having non-commercial scripts.

So look like FBI only can shutdown sites.

List main purpose for Site admins for to ban those ips from accessing your sites!

Taken from Open sources and misc Proxy programs.

Also list includes ips of United Nations , Interpol , EU , AU and UK police ips.

Now you will know, who the hell monitoring your site.

=========>IMPORTANT<===============

YOU CAN CHECK YOUR HOSTING ISP IF ITS WORKING WITH DMCA OFFICE OR NOT HERE AVOID USE OF THOSE WHO LISTED IN SITE!

copyright.gov/onlinesp/list/a_agents.html

dmca.com 174.129.246.113 Virginia - Ashburn - Amazon.com Inc

=========>IMPORTANT<===============

Reasons why DON'T TOLERATE DMCA AT ALL:

1)FOR SCRIPTS written in PHP - PHP IS FREE TO USE,FREE TO HAVE,FREE TO MODIFY LANGUAGE.

SO if developers are so COOL - USE ASP .NET PROGRAMMING LANGUAGES FOR YOUR SCRIPTS.PAY FOR IT AND THEN SELL YOUR SCRIPTS AND BLAME NULLERS!

AND DON'T MAKE THINGS PAID WHICH ARE INTENDED TO BE FREE - ARGUING WITH ME - USE MICROSOFT ASP DOT NET and be happy.

- ALSO OFTEN SCRIPTS ARE EASILY HACKED AND EXPLOITED, and developers laughing with you making you LOOSING TIME AND MONEY for their patches.

2)FOR Softwares

- ALL PAID SOFTWARE , PROBABLY BESIDE OUTSOURCED IS WITH BUGS,EXPLOITS AND HACKABLE

- SOFTWARE DEVELOPERS NEVER GIVE YOU GUARANTEE FOR LOSSES CAUSED BY VIRUSES, HACKS AND SO ON

- SOFTWARE DEVELOPERS WILL NEVER GIVE YOU GUARANTEE THAT THEIR PRODUCT WILL NOT TRACE YOU, GATHER INFO ABOUT YOUR ACTIVITY

FOR OTHER CONTENT THINK BY YOURSELF.

FOR PROTECTING YOUR CONTENT - USE SOME SOFTWARE,BIND IT TO SINGLE DOMAIN,VISIT WEBMASTER SITES.

Regards

Nick

Sure, the IP list is fine, nothing wrong about knowing who's watching. I just meant the reasons not to tolerate the DMCA can indeed be shown invalid:

1)FOR SCRIPTS written in PHP - PHP IS FREE TO USE,FREE TO HAVE,FREE TO MODIFY LANGUAGE.

Okay, so far so good, PHP is indeed free and Open Source.

SO if developers are so COOL - USE ASP .NET PROGRAMMING LANGUAGES FOR YOUR SCRIPTS.PAY FOR IT AND THEN SELL YOUR SCRIPTS AND BLAME NULLERS!

Uhhh.... huh. I'm not sure why ASP.NET is brought up. The argument here appears to be if YOU pay - apparently for the language itself - only THEN is it okay to sell things. A bit convoluted logic for arguing against DMCA in my opinion.

AND DON'T MAKE THINGS PAID WHICH ARE INTENDED TO BE FREE - ARGUING WITH ME - USE MICROSOFT ASP DOT NET and be happy.

This made me laugh, not sure if that was intentional. "Use .NET and be happy."

- ALSO OFTEN SCRIPTS ARE EASILY HACKED AND EXPLOITED, and developers laughing with you making you LOOSING TIME AND MONEY for their patches.

Generalization much? Note that with the use of 'Often' you already show that you know your argument does not hold up 100% of the time. Also, most big-name companies that actually try to enforce DMCA usually have regular (and free!) updates to current customers. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt on this one, though, it could go either way on the bias scale.

2)FOR Softwares

- ALL PAID SOFTWARE , PROBABLY BESIDE OUTSOURCED IS WITH BUGS,EXPLOITS AND HACKABLE

More generalization ("All paid software","Probably besides outsourced"). I could go with a reverser's mind here and say - ok, everything is, given time and motivation, hackable - however since I'm trying to prove a point, this argument sounds like an advertisement to skip buying software from big names and instead pay some Indian (Excuse the slight racism, it just amuses me how many freelancers I've seen from India) to make what you want.

- SOFTWARE DEVELOPERS NEVER GIVE YOU GUARANTEE FOR LOSSES CAUSED BY VIRUSES, HACKS AND SO ON

I like this argument, but why should they? Support your argument!

- SOFTWARE DEVELOPERS WILL NEVER GIVE YOU GUARANTEE THAT THEIR PRODUCT WILL NOT TRACE YOU, GATHER INFO ABOUT YOUR ACTIVITY

Err, ever heard of a privacy policy? Without telling you when and what data a product collects from you, a company could get in a bit of trouble.

Hurray for having nothing better to do~ :teehee:

Hehe well I agree it's hardly a well constructed argument. But the ideas behind it are at least worthy to take into account when analysing the DMCA.

For the well constructed arguments one could always visit the EFF.

THEY ****ing SHOULD.

Look like you JUST ANOTHER GOVERNMENT ASSHOLE.

I am not promoting outsouces (Thought there are a lot of non indians - Bugarians for example)

Just when scrit outsourced it get less chances to get public.

THOSE PRIVACY POLICY IS NOTHING MORE THEN JUST TEXT - ANYONE CAN WRITE ANYTHING AND NOT DO IT.

And about "free" updates HAVE YOU EVER HEARD OF FREE VBULLETIN VERSION UPDATES???

Me not.

Hyerlisk:

The argument here appears to be if YOU pay - apparently for the language itself - only THEN is it okay to sell things. A bit convoluted logic for arguing against DMCA in my opinion.

VBulletin don't PAY FOR USING PHP OR ANY OTHER COMPANY DON'T PAY TOO SO F*CK YOU!

So STFU you copyright protector.Go protect your granny from aliens. Its better what can you do.

I think you took what I said the wrong way. I was just pointing out flaws in your arguments. I never said your side of the argument is wrong. Also, there's nothing wrong with people trying to protect their investments (time, money) as is the case in your argument with vBulletin. However, I agree with you that government intervention in that protection/circumvention loop is wrong.

REMEMBER STORY THAT Bill Gates stoled idea from his university mate?

AND NOW he is Giant.

This HOW DMCA AND US Copyrighters working - THOSE WHO WORKS WITH THEM (I.E GIVING ACCESS TO CONTROL TO ITS PRODUCTS TO SECRET SERVICES - THEY APPLAUSE and don't give a damn who and what stoled)

THOSE WHO ARE JUST USERS GET BLAMED AND GOT THEIR SITES CLOSED FOR NOT GIVING A DAMN.

ESPECIALLY I WAS DRIVEN BY NEWS FROM SOME HACKING FORUMS - THAT FBI WILL SPY FOR INTERNATIONAL SERVERS FOR COPYRIGHTS.

ALSO WHAT dmca made - IS MAKING HOSTING COMPANIES MAD ABOUT COMPLAINTS.

NOW ITS TIME TO PROOVE THAT DMCA IDEA (AT LEAST ABOUT SCRIPTS SUCKS AND WILL NEVER LIVE) - COZ THERE ARE MORE PEOPLE WHO LIKE SCRIPTS FOR FREE THEN THOSE WHO SUPPORTING.

VBulletin like other developers and like other coders are in same conditions for selling scripts - WHY I OR OTHER PERSON SHOULD BE BLAMED FOR THAT THEY CANNOT PROTECT THEIR SCRIPTS???

I shouldn't.ITS JUST BUSINESS - AND IF THEY CANNOT, THEY LOOSE IT. LAW OF NATURE.

Otherwise US will loose ITS HOSTING MARKET DOMINANCE, WHICH WILL BE TAKEN BY CHINA OR other bad countries, until probably there will be no obama in the office.

Most ISO groups use multi-tier SFTP for distro, and only long-time trusted talents get into top-tiers.

If you're using HTTP,NNTP,IRC for distro of course I.C.E is going to zap you eventually. With the above method though only seeders and uploader who don't know anything get zapped, and they still practice security measures like exclusive SOCKS4/5 seeding and http session uploads..

Well i always seeding torents encrypted with utorrent.

If most people will do - less chances get problems.

Any proxy - leaves logs.

So alternative to proxy is SSH tunelling on secure server without logs, located somewhere in Netherlands or Luxembourg.

Hopefully now there is chance to run windows apps over linux for everyday use.Even games.

And i am currently learning how to make linux secure + getting some good apps.I,E using encryoted filesystem like LUKS or others.

And another argument is that there some peoples who "OWNING SUN AND MOON" and so on.

IF TOMORROW SOMEONE WILL OWN SNOW - WOULD YOU PAY LICENSE FOR MAKING SNOW FIGURES OR IF YOUR KIDS WILL.

Same with PHP - ITS FOR ALL.

IF DEVELOPER CANNOT PROTECT IT CODE, CANNOT PROTECT ITS DISTRIBUTION - IT WILL FAIL.

BUSINESS IS BUSINESS - AND THATS FOR ANY KIND OF IT.

SO REASON TO NOT TOLERATE DMCA - IN SCRIPTS IS JUST I DON'T WANT TO BUY PROMISES.

I think Killboy was more pointing out that your caps key seemed to be stuck, either that or you have no idea you were just shouting at everybody. I'm not sure why people seem to think that their comment/opinion will carry more weight if they reinforce it with large lettering but imho it is about as effective as screaming in somebody's face when you want to get their attention. (ie: you might get attention but it might not necessarily be the type you were after.)
