Firefox update(d) notification

Hey there

I'm running a dual boot system (XP+Vista) and set both Firefox installs to use a 'Firefox' directory located on disk H:

Ever since, I get a notification when I start Firefox the first time, 'You installed the newst update' with a tab showing the changelog and the plugin window pops up telling me '1 plugin updated' no matter if something was actually updated or not.

This just seems to happen the first time after rebooting, if I close and open it again, I dont get this stuff.

Tried disabling automatic updates, to no avail (funny enough it still checks for plugin updates on every start o_O).

Anyone else ever had that problem ? I googled but found nothing similar :/
