Vi2DoubleYu
File Name: Moon of SND File Submitter: Vi2DoubleYu File Submitted: 18 Feb 2008 File Category: uPPP Skins hello...during my work, i make this skin for you all. all image on this scene is rendered by my self using photoshop, photoimpact and using pen tablet combination. and i know i still got prob about size, for nice detailed rendered image that consume more size. so if you release you patch with more size, so they must agree bout how big that patch cause they need your talent.maybe that solution and i still keep improve for render and make nice skin with smallest size for your all. for all my friends, hope you all like like.without your comment, maybe I cannot make improve for next release.. enjoy it... regards Vi2DoubleYU Click here to download this file
SSlEvIN
Nice skin Mate !Question: why don't you use PNGout Win to squeeze your images a lil ? Quality loss is minimal, and file size is greatly reduced. Besides, you can choose small .xm file (a few kB).Cheers,

Cheers, thanks...i've used PNGout Win but that image still got big size, otherwise i can blur that image but,i'm lost quality.maybe i make that skin reduce a lightness and make smallest skin to got small patch. maybe next time i make another with size concern and for XM files, i like that music for my skin but if anyone want make a small size patch, i'm allowed for change it. that xm files. and thanks so much your idea and your question also you first post on my skin. Ufo-Pu55y
I like this skin. Well done.. especially the 'eek' So I was curious how small I could get it WITHOUT loosing quality: otherwise i can blur that image but,i'm lost quality.Don't use blur ! I found out, 'Posterize' is the winner baby, when working outskins for uppp. You can kill looooots of bytes with it without noticing a loss of quality !! So I tried it with your skin, and I decreased the filesize from 359kb to 212kb. And you wouldn't notice a difference Also some words about your font. First.. it doesn't work, coz it's filename is wrong ! It should be "somybmp01_7.ttf" not "somy.ttf" - then it works. But I think it doesn't fit very much anyway... Keep up the great work. Ufo-Pu55y
how i can know it "somybmp01_7.ttf" that font name.Simply doubleclick the font file. Then it usually should be opened with the system's 'windows font viewer'. Once you know the family name of the font, rename the file (watch out for spaces!) and correct it also in the skin.ini file of course...
