ECLiPTiC
Good to see you creating dUP skins. I see you've got the mouse over buttons all working properly, but you're correct about the region..... doesn't look too good. Looks esp bad when on top of a dark desktop, as there's a thick white border around parts of it. If I may offer some criticism and suggestions: To start out with creating irregular shaped skins, try working with shapes that have very sharp, straight, well defined edges. As you progress you will learn tricks for making the regions fit better to other shapes. In my opinion, the green lettering on the buttons in the "over" position clashes with the skin..... maybe another color would look better. The box at the bottom of the skin that holds the edit boxes and info field is very, erm.... blah.... maybe some texture or color would help. I would also move the application field and the "back up" to this area.... to me they are in an odd placement and look like they're floating. My last comment is the SnD font choice.... it's very smooth and friendly looking, while the rest of the skin is tough and sordid. Keep up the good work.... Looking forward to seeing some more
