Ufo-Pu55y
hehe works, n1 !Uhhhhhhhhhh, u guys frightened the **** out of me ! lolBut for me that's more brown than golden Hm, yeah, but how would 'Brown Edition' sound like BTW, seems I need some serious advise about packers... Today Loki told me, that a file from me (packed with WinUPack) seriously f* up his AV. So I stopped using the (for me) best packer. The one I've upped in the first post is packed with MEW11, and it seems that it screws the keygen somehow, coz it doesn't run for everybody :/ Is there any other really good but SAFE packer out there ??? Thanks
Rumour
Much good. Can do in rgn or kill window borders ?Have try UPX ? Edited April 27, 2007 by Rumour
Ufo-Pu55y
Can do in rgn or kill window borders ?Ya, I know - and it's a pain in my...But I'm always looking for a solution. Have u ever seen real OpenGL stuff in a dialog... Have try UPX ?Thanks, but...Size => 160kb FSG2.0 -> 51,9kb UPX -> 51,0kb MEW11 -> 45,6kb WinUPack -> 42,9kb Ok, let the few kb go - it's just kinda annoying to know, that a release could be much smaller :/
ECLiPTiC
have you tried eXPressor or Nspack?Looks good. I'm installing Photoshop CS3 as I type this, so after everything is working and I've some time I'll forward some more gfx ideas to you. Keep up the good work. Looking forward to some scrolling / waving text.

Looking forward to some scrolling / waving text. Thanks, I've tested a lot (~15), but I missed nSpack. For this template it's as good as MEW11 I'll use it and hope that it runs for everybody. Please keep the gfxs rolling ...even if I need a lill brake from opengl now for 'other' projects: -started writing a small tutorial about msx-gfx-synchronization -got 2 ideas for templates in my mind (but without opengl) - help of a gfxer would be kewl nevertheless -get into msx, coz I'm not satisfied by chiptunes. I mean how to sample stuff for trackers and such, that fits to my vision. Anyway sound's not less important than visuals, is it ? -Actually I intended to return to opengl, when I've finally found a way to use it in a dialog box - who knows.. Ziggy
Nice job again Ufo-Pu55y Seems unlikely that a packer could screw up on one pc but not another. Have you looked at whether different versions of system dlls could be the problem? Maybe a bug? - For me the cube does not rotate at all until I run the "about". Once the about is close to finished the cube starts to rotate. Then it works fine from then on. (Both versions with different packers do the same thing) cheers Z Edited April 28, 2007 by Ziggy

(Both versions with different packers do the same thing)I'm not sure.In the very first msx-pattern (~7 seconds) the cube doesn't move at all (but it doesn't intentionally),but from the 2nd pattern on without stopping. Did u mean that ? Or does it never start rotating, when u don't click a button ?
Fungus
have you tried pecompact? seems to do the best for me. very nice intro/keygen too.

Only when you get to the end of the "about" does it start looking like a cube and start rotating.Looks like something is not initialised?regardsZ
Ufo-Pu55y
Looks like something is not initialised? Problem fixed and source updated It was a weak place in the code, which sometimes prevented the cube from rotating. Grr, I'm angry with myself, coz I felt before that it could happen in that place. But now everything should be fine... have you tried pecompact? Also did a great job on the template ! THX !! Ufo-Pu55y
Hum, I noticed this earlier after the last fix, but simply forgot to update the source later on :/ With the last fix came up another little bug - the cube was dancing less than before. Everything's fine now... source updated... sry Greets

Ufo-Pu55y
I don't have it. And you don't need it. To be more specific: you shouldn't need it.You don't statically link with any ogl code, the required DLLs are on Window$ by default.
