Hi!

I was referred here when i posted in another forum that i was looking for a reversing team that i could help out in the graphics department. I'm looking for a team that I can work with, without the pressure however. I don't have 100% of time to devote since I am busy with my design university studies.

The RiTuEL skin below was made about half a year ago or so but was never used (thru Paradox gfx team which I was shortly affiliated with but didnt work out for me)

RiTUEL SKIN

I was also referred to team ICU and I made them something for my first post, 15-20 minutes in photoshop.... be kind :)

Team ICU

Thanks..

btw, as I was typing this, I managed to reverse my first program so "**** yes!" for me :) haha just thought i should let someone know!

Hello Shift,

May I ask why you weren't interested in working on intros / demos with Paradox?

Thanks for visiting our site. Be sure to check out our gallery and downloads area. If you got some time, I'd like to see some original work for us here at SnD.

Hello Shift,

I was asked that before, so forgive me for the cut and paste, but...

About 1/2 a year or more ago I got the idea that I wanted to make graphics for a reversing crew -- any reversing crew. So I did a google search (and, surprisingly to me, I didn't find very many crew websites) and I ended up at the PDX site -- which, honestly, I thought was defunct seeing as the page is pretty retro (aesthetically speaking). However, I contacted the team via email and explained what I wanted. I got contacted back by ***** (no need to mention names) who was gfx head over there and asked for some samples. I showed him some wallpapers and he invited me to join on a month's trial. I agreed. He explained to me that his demoscene crew ***** (i knew nothing about the demoscene) handled the gfx for PDX and for many other crews. Basically, he would get me the 'job', regardless of crew, and then i would get to work on it -- exactly what I wanted, just to make graphics for the scene in general. So, they invited me on their 'secret' irc channels (PDX's and the demo crew's) and I was all excited and pumped haha BUT, 3-4 weeks into it, all they had me doing was gfx for the demo crew. After I complained a bit, they gave me the rituel skin which I displayed in my 1st post but when I finished they were like, "yeah, that wasn't really a skin for a keygen -- just something for you to practice". I was like WTF?! haha So after all of that, I told them I was leaving because I felt like i was doing pointless **** and i wasnt networking with the right people. Like i said -- I'd rather be a part of a brand new, upcoming crew with 0 releases than a 'prolific' one if my stuff wasnt being used/not being taken seriously.
