Good luck with your learning!

Joker's tuts will be useful to you eventually but you might want to start with lena151's series if you have never even used a debugger before. They are excellent and will get you well on your way :)

Be careful, its addictive :P

Hello everyone...

I've been pouring over lena's tutorials and I've got through almost all of them.. except a select few where some kind of problem came up with my pc I may try them on one of my laptops.. I dare not think about how much time I put into those tutorials and yet I still need to go over some again to get a full grasp Oh well I just can't stop myself it's just so interesting

Hey, just thought i say hello. Just joined the board. I see snd has been around for awhile now. I think they have been rebuilding themselves for about 5 years now. I would like to join snd. If there is a trail period that is ok. I can do cracks, keygens, copyrights, whatever is the topic of the team at the time. This is the only reason I'm joining. So, if you dont need another team member. Then thats fine. I will go over to core. But, if you guys are letting ppl join. Then great. I'm looking to be on a team that has active members which are on 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. I know we all have jobs or private life. But would like to see all team members online every moment they have. I hope snd is team oriented. Meaning they share private information and programs among each other. So, if someone can link me to a registeration or sign up or direct me to the team leader. I would appreciate it. :) Other then that. I hope to provide to the tutorial base here. Along with helping others. I will see you all on the boards in the next coming months.

Hey all,

I'm Shad0w (you may have already guessed :P ).

Ehh I dunno what to say lol, I've been lurking here for about 2 weeks (reg'd in January, didn't have the chance to come here much). I love to crack, keygen, do gfx, programming, and all that jazz - it's just such great fun! :D I joined here mainly to learn more about "all of the above", but hopefully I'll be able to contribute back to this community too! :)

See ya'll around!

Hi, I joined this forum because I'd like to learn more about reverse engineering. Well, that's not entirely true...

I'm actually trying to reverse one program to snatch encryption keys to a SQL database (don't ask), but apparently the best way to do that is to learn more about RE in general. It seems the more I learn, the more I don't know and need to learn. :D I probably won't post here much, its far more likely that I'll read the information so generously provided here. The most experience I have with RE has to do with SNES rom hacking, and the little I've learned about x86 in the past two weeks. I have other technical skills, yet none of them pertain specifically to reverse engineering.

Just like most people, while I'd rather not learn, I'm going to have to if I want to achieve my goals. At the same time, I can't stand people that won't try to learn/do it on their own, so its not like I have much choice. If I learn something interesting that I don't find here, I'll contribute; and if I know something that someone needs help with I'll offer what I know. I'm a newbie, and I pretty much know my place in that aspect; my only real shortcoming as far as learning/contributing is truly due to time constraints, hence the irritation. :P I felt it would only be fair to let the community know where I stand and why.

With that said, I'd like to thank you all for allowing me to join the community, use the tools and utilize this fantastic resource.

Gday everyone,

A friend recommended this site to me.

I very much look forward to getting to know the people and contribute however I can.

A very clean looking layout, with a clear and precise ruleset, I like that.

Hello. I discovered this site when I was tiptoeing through places I shouldn't, which is the sort of activity I like best.

I have never considered myself a hacker or cracker and my exposure to programming languages is pretty basic, however I have begun reading some tutorials on this site and discovered once I got over some initial frustrations that I had a hidden talent I never knew about.

I hope that I have the time to absorb the concepts floating around in this circle of the underworld.
