Hi everybody,
Here is my new tool named "Professional Portable Executable Explorer". You can use it to explore PE32, PE64, .Net Assemblies and any other PE files.
[Resource directory is not supported yet.]

http://forum.tuts4yo...661-ppee-puppy/

http://www.woodmann....hp/PPEE_(puppy)

Please report bugs found and attach the file which caused the bug in your mail.
Any idea is welcome.
Thanks a lot.

Nice toy! :)

Suggested improvements:
1) double-click on left panel is annoying and unnecessary. Single click should be enough?
2) impossible to navigate around using keyboard.
3) maximizing window doesn't resize all controls.
4) if it's not a PE editor, why not make all right-side controls read-only?

Bugs:
1) Crashes with access violation on Confuser-protected files:
Exception Information
Code: 0xc0000005    Flags: 0x00000000
Record: 0x0000000000000000    Address: 0x000000000040a5ff

2) Incorrectly processes relocations, if block size = 0xC (most packed .NET files).

I can't attach problematic files (board rules!) but you should be able to find such files easily.

Cheers,
kao.

Thank you kao for your suggestions. I'm aware of them. Maybe they will be improved in the next version.

It seemed that puppy worked properly on Confuser protected files which I have in my system. Would you please email the file that crashes puppy for me.

Thanks in advance.

Hello again,
I'd like to introduce new version of PPEE(puppy).
Now puppy can bite! That means puppy is gonna become a PE editor. You are allowed to edit most of the data directory structures.

Follow the link supplied in the first post.
Feel free to use it and report bugs.

I want to inform you that a new build(Not version) of puppy is added to the woodmann's great library.
Main bug fix: Command line overflow
